The event titled Logistics Thinking in International Trade: How Does a Product Travel Around the World?, organized within the scope of the First Lecture Event by our Faculty, was held with strong participation on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in UBF B102 Classroom.
During the event, Supply Chain Management Consultant Aytaç Vodinalı comprehensively addressed the international logistics processes that a product goes through from the production stage to final consumption. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of logistics thinking in international trade by discussing topics such as supply chain management, the strategic use of different transportation modes, customs procedures, and global competition dynamics.
Drawing on real sector experiences, Vodinalı stated that competing in global markets is possible not only through production capacity but also through properly planned and effectively managed logistics processes. Students actively participated throughout the event by asking questions and engaging in discussion.
The program concluded with a note of appreciation presented to the speaker for his valuable contributions.
