The “100,000 Steps for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic” event was organized by SUBÜ Faculty of Applied Sciences, the Environmental and Natural Resources Protection Club, and the Kaynarca District Youth Center.

Students from Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, with the support of the Kaynarca District Youth Center, walked 100,000 steps at Acarlar Longozu and Maden Creek to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic. The anniversary was celebrated with excitement and enthusiasm by university students.

The walk was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selma KILIÇ KIRILMAZ, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and faculty member of the International Trade and Logistics Department, Serdar KARAASLAN, Youth Leader of the Kaynarca District Youth Center, and faculty students. After the event, Karasu Municipality provided students with sweets and tea.
