Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237-A program, our students from the Department of International Trade and Logistics, Cem Olcay Ekinci, Ezel Urhan, and Ahmet Sefa Özkan, earned the right to participate in the training program titled “Effective Solutions to Urban Logistics Problems”, held jointly by Bartın University, Giresun University, and Maltepe University from July 25 to 27, with a nationwide participant limit of 30.

During the training program, information was provided on topics such as “Urban Logistics Perspective”, “Purpose of Urban Logistics”, “Environmental and Sustainability Solutions in Urban Logistics”, “Advantages of Smart Cities in Logistics Management”, “The Importance of Digital Transformation in Logistics”, and “Risk Management in Urban Logistics”. On the final day of the training, the students presented the case study titled “Logistics Crisis in Istanbul”.

We are grateful to Dr. Halil Karlı, Dr. Emre İpekçi, Dr. Yunus Emre Topcu, Dr. Rukiye Gizem Öztaş Karlı, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tanyas, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabahattin Çetin for their guidance, knowledge, and experience, which greatly contributed to the successful execution of the program and supported the academic and professional development of our students.
