Students from the Career and Business World Club at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) had the opportunity to closely explore leading companies in the sector through a technical visit to the Kaynarca Furniture Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (KAMOSB). The event began with an informative presentation by Mr. Mehmet Duran, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at KAMOSB, providing students with a detailed overview of the industrial zone while experts answered students’ questions.

The visit also included discussions about internship opportunities within KAMOSB, allowing students to develop a deeper understanding of the sector. Following the technical tour, students visited the production facilities of prominent companies such as Çalışkan Office Furniture and Artı Mobilya. During these visits, students had the chance to observe furniture manufacturing processes up close and gain practical insights into the industry.

At the Güney Büro Mobilyaları production facility, students engaged in an interactive session with the business owner, Mr. Birol Güney. They discussed the company’s establishment process, challenges faced in the industry, and success stories, providing students with valuable insights into various real-world business scenarios.

The technical visit offered students the chance to observe current developments in the sector firsthand and interact directly with industry professionals, allowing them to combine their theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
