The “Institutional Transformation Planning Workshop” was organized by the Quality Commission of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ). The workshop aimed to ensure the university is prepared for the future and to enhance agile management capabilities by considering changes in the higher education ecosystem, global trends, national objectives, and stakeholder expectations. During the workshop, the opinions and observations of SUBÜ’s internal and external stakeholders were evaluated.
The two-day workshop, attended by 60 participants, focused on the following areas: Change Management, Leadership, Governance and Quality, Information and Technology Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Applied R&D (Thematic Table), and Applied Education (Thematic Table). Expert opinions were gathered, and the current situation, suggestions, and recommendations for each area were assessed.
Our Faculty Vice Dean, Associate Professor Sinan ESEN, moderated the Change Management table, with faculty members Associate Professors Kenan GÖÇER, Nermin AKYEL, and Mehmet BAĞIŞ contributing to this area. Additionally, our Vice Dean, Associate Professor Selma KILIÇ KIRILMAZ, participated in the Leadership, Governance and Quality, and Information and Technology Management table, contributing her expertise.
The workshop concluded with a closing speech by Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet SARIBIYIK, the presentation of the workshop’s final report, and the distribution of certificates of appreciation to participants.
