Senate Decisions for the 2022–2023 Spring Semester

• Education and training in the 2022–2023 Spring Semester will be conducted online.

• Course registration procedures for the 2022–2023 Spring Semester will take place between February 20–26, 2023.
  The semester will begin on Monday, February 27, 2023.

• Students residing in and affected by the earthquake region
  (Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa) will be granted the right to freeze their registration.

• Due to the earthquake, for students who are unable to complete their registration renewal within the dates specified in the academic calendar, the excused registration renewal deadline has been extended until the end of working hours on Friday, March 17, 2023.

• Students enrolled at universities located in the earthquake-affected region will be accepted to our university with “Special Student” status, provided that they submit a request and their home universities grant permission.

• Midterm exams and assignment processes will be carried out online.

• The practical components of courses will be re-evaluated depending on the normalization of the situation.

• Students who will take the “Workplace Vocational Training” course may continue their workplace training at any location of their choice, provided that workplace requirements are met.

• The School Experience and Teaching Practice courses will be conducted by the relevant faculties in accordance with the schedule and method to be determined by the Ministry of National Education and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
