PRESS RELEASE

Due to the earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş that occurred on February 6, 2023, which directly affected 10 provinces;

• The fact that students from this region who are studying at higher education institutions in other provinces may not be able to participate in education,

• The reality that some of these students’ relatives have been directly affected by the disaster,

• The participation of students as well as academic and administrative staff at our higher education institutions in search, rescue, and relief efforts,

the start of the spring semester at all higher education institutions has been temporarily postponed until further notice, taking these circumstances into consideration.
