The Career Summit, held on December 28, 2023, at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, brought together students and graduates. The main theme of the summit was “What Does the Business World Expect from Graduates?”

Following the opening speech by UBF Dean Prof. Dr. Sinan ESEN, the first session, “What Does the Business World Expect from Graduates?”, took place. In this session, Turgay ÇELİK, Board Member of SATSO, İsmail Filiz FİDANOĞLU, President of MÜSİAD Sakarya Branch, Güray ÇALIŞKAN, President of MOBSİAD, and Metin KAR, Founding President of SAMİB, shared their insights on the expectations of the business world from future employees.

In the second session, students presented their Market Research assignments prepared within the scope of the Foreign Market Research course at UBF. These presentations aimed to serve as examples of market research for products needed by the business world, conducted by UBF students.

The third session featured Şevket KIRICI, General Secretary of SATSO, who introduced the Career Module developed by SATSO.

In the fourth and final session, Nurbanu BEKTAŞ, General Secretary of PİKDER, presented PİKDER, and Mert ÖKÇÜN, Board Member of PİKDER, conducted a seminar on Effective CV Preparation and Interview Techniques.
