Applications for the Recognition of Prior Learning for the 2026-2027 Academic Year must be submitted in person via a written petition to the relevant department secretariats, in accordance with Article 6 of the Sakarya University of Applied Sciences Directive on the Recognition of Prior Learning. Applications and examinations will take place on the dates announced in the calendar. Examinations will be conducted in person. A student may apply for examinations covering a maximum of 15 ECTS credits within a single examination period.

Documents required during application:

For courses: A subject-related Training Certificate obtained from authorized educational institutions or public institutions;

For internships and Vocational Training in Enterprises: A portfolio prepared during the workplace activities or an internship logbook prepared in the format specified by the department. The student must document their Social Security Institution (SSI) registration at the relevant workplace during the period of acquiring these competencies; furthermore, in their application, they must present documents—approved by a workplace official—detailing the activities through which the knowledge, skills, and competencies were acquired, as well as the duration of the work/training.

ATTENTION: Internship, Vocational Training in Enterprises, Foreign Language, and Information Technologies & Coding courses are excluded from the 15 ECTS credit limit.
