Students who meet the Single Course Exam eligibility requirements listed below at the end of the 2025–2026 Academic Year Spring Semester must submit their applications through the Student Information System (BYS) between 6–20 July 2026.
The Single Course Exam will be held on Wednesday, 22 July 2026.
Application Requirements
- Students who have fulfilled the attendance requirement for all courses required for graduation (excluding internships) and have only one remaining course with a grade of FF, FD, or GR are entitled to take the Single Course Exam on the dates specified in the academic calendar.
- Students who have passed all required courses (excluding internships) but are unable to graduate because they have not achieved the required minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 are entitled to take the Single Course Exam in one course of their choice on the dates specified in the academic calendar.
- Students who would still be unable to raise their cumulative GPA to 2.00 even if they received the highest possible grade (AA) on the Single Course Exam are not eligible to take the exam.
- The Single Course Exam is not available for courses requiring practical work, such as graduation projects, design courses, internships, or workplace professional training.
- Students must submit their applications to their respective academic units by the application deadline specified in the academic calendar.
- If a student fails the Single Course Exam, they may either retake the course in the semester in which it is offered, provided they are still within the maximum period of study, or take a future Single Course Exam offered at the end of a semester.
- Coursework completed during the semester is not taken into account in the evaluation of the Single Course Exam. To pass the exam, students must obtain at least a DD grade.
