Conducted under the umbrella of Sakarya Uygulamalı Bilimler Üniversitesi, the International Postgraduate Student Congress organized within the scope of the REUSE Jean Monnet Module commenced today (16 February 2026) with its opening session.

The congress addresses the reciprocal relationship between digitalization and the circular economy within the framework of European Union policies from an interdisciplinary perspective, bringing together numerous academics and postgraduate researchers from different countries. The program covers contemporary topics such as digital transformation, green economy, sustainability, ESG, artificial intelligence, financial transformation, and public policies.

During today’s online sessions, keynote speeches and parallel paper presentations were delivered with the participation of international speakers. The congress program will continue tomorrow (17 February 2026) with further online sessions.

The papers presented within the scope of the congress evaluate the contribution of digital technologies to circular economy objectives, particularly from a policy design perspective aligned with the European Union’s green and digital transformation agenda.

We wish all participants success in the sessions to be held as part of our congress.
